To achieve their ambitious 2030 growth goals, Hilti needed to double their workforce—adding 60,000+ new hires across 40 countries in a mere 5 years. Hiring at this scale meant the Talent Acquisition team would need to transform everything about how they work, not just work harder.

What We Did

At Mighty Cultures, we believe successful transformations invest in the people going through change, not just the technology, restructures, or process improvements behind it. With that belief at the center, we partnered with the Talent Acquisition team on a multi-year transformation, introducing a set of Transformation Accelerators—the critical mindsets required for success—through the Transformation Field Guide, a highly engaging printed asset delivered to all 200 TA team members.

The Field Guide articulated the strategic narrative, a compelling reason to believe, and a deep dive into each Accelerator, and was reinforced through locally run Readiness Labs facilitated by regional TA Heads in their native language, each focused on applying one Accelerator in day-to-day work. To enable leaders, we hosted live Train-the-Trainer sessions where facilitation prep was completed in-session, removing additional burden. In parallel, we partnered with Hilti on the change management for their global ATS (Applicant Tracking System) implementation, developing distinct change narratives for TA teams, hiring managers, and senior stakeholders—each clearly answering “what this means for me”—and delivering an end-to-end change strategy spanning communications, training, and a clear support ecosystem, brought to life through a suite of high-impact assets that guided the business through the change.

The Outcome

The TA transformation was hugely successful—driving necessary improvements in time-to-hire and time-to-fill metrics, while maintaining high TA team engagement and satisfaction. The transformation was recognized at the 2024 LinkedIn Talent Connect conference, featured on HR Leaders Podcast and Beamery Podcast, and became LEAD's TA transformation template.
